Alicyclic epoxy resins are a type of non-bisphenol A epoxy resins prepared by oxidizing the dienes in alicyclic structures with peracetic acid, whose synthesis route is completely different from that of ordinary epoxy resins. The chemical structure characteristic of such resins is that the epoxy groups in the molecular structure are directly attached to the alicyclic rings, endowing them with excellent thermal stability, good UV resistance, low acidity of the resin itself, and most of the curing agents used are acid-based.
